With assistance from Isuzu UTE Australia’s Local Sports Sponsorship Fund, Mackay Isuzu UTE has shared in nearly $500,000 of funding which has been injected into junior community sporting teams and clubs around Australia.
“Isuzu UTE’s Local Sports Sponsorship Fund is a great initiative that has allowed us to support the growth and development of kids’ sport in Mackay and surrounding areas,” said Georgia Thomson, Dealer Principal.
The program is designed to provide financial support to sporting teams and clubs for expenses such as facility upgrades, equipment procurement and uniform purchases.
“The support of Isuzu UTE Mackay, has been second to none and assisted AFL Mackay to continue to be a market leader in community sport and ease the burden of costs associated to play for our players. Since Isuzu UTE Mackay has come on-board as a major partner, our great game has continued to grow and we are forever thankful! Isuzu UTE Mackay and AFL Mackay Juniors, are great partners in sport!” says Jeff Neumann Regional Manager of AFL Mackay.
To date, beneficiaries of the fund have included a variety of junior football codes, cricket, netball and basketball clubs and even gymnastics and surf lifesaving clubs.
